About

Harvested in spring (or the first harvest of the year) this Yabukita matcha is from our Ninose tea field located in the Yubune region of Wazuka Town.

This field is known for its distinct taste and colour. These qualities are heavily attributed to the sandy properties of the field, a rarity in Wazuka, which is well known for its mountainous characteristics.

The quality of our yabukita matcha is on the same level as our other matcha products, which means you can also enjoy it purely as a drink.

All these distinct features come together, producing extremely ideal conditions for matcha worthy to be used at a culinary level for either pastries or traditional Japanese sweets. At d:matcha, this is the very same matcha we use in a range of our dishes from our curry to our tiramisu, and even our seasonal best-selling matcha themed cakes.
