Cost of Shipping
- All international purchases are fulfilled at a fixed rate of JPY 3,500.
- Free shipping is made for purchases for over JPY 18,000.
- We are using DHL or Japan Post (JP) to ensure all our orders can be fulfilled in a timely manner. Please do contact us at info@dmatcha.com if you have any inquiries regarding this matter.
- The rates have been calculated to ensure a fair and even amount pricing for our customers, regardless of their location.
However, in cases where shipping to remote areas or islands incurs exceptionally high shipping costs, we may need to discuss the arrangement of shipping fees.
Delivery time
Normally, after receiving an order, you can expect to receive your package within approximately 7 to 14 days.
<Example: Shipping to the United States>
Step 1: Your package will be shipped from d:matcha within 3 to 5 business days. Step 2: Shipping through DHL will take around 4 to 7 days for transportation.
(*) The delivery time is different for each destination, depending on the postal service and customs conditions in each country. Please note that we can't guarantee the delivery time or exact date of delivery.
Taxation and Handling of DHL
Once your order is shipped, possessive rights of the products belong to the purchaser. If the parcel does not reach its destination because the purchaser incorrectly entered the delivery address, we don't accept responsibility. Therefore, please enter the delivery address carefully and correctly. In addition, after your order is shipped, we are unable to accept any change or cancellation to your order except for damaged, defective, or wrongly shipped merchandise.
For most cases of DHL Express delivery in EU and some countries, customs clearance fees and taxes are billed upon delivery to the recipient.

Customs duties vary depending on your country. If you have to pay a custom duty, you will be required to pay the duty when you receive your order.

- China---no duty up to 1,000 Yuan (15% over 1,000 Yuan)
- The Republic of Korea---no duty up to 100,000 Won (513.6% over 100,000 Won)
Taxes other than customs duty, for example, VAT (Value-Added Tax), can be possibly imposed when you receive the parcel (especially in the EU region). It depends on each country’s regulation, order contents, order amount, or each circumstance.
We don’t charge you any taxes with your order payment. And we are unable to bear any responsibility for any taxation issue.

Return Policy
- We only accept returns within 30 days of the shipping date for products that have been unused or unopened, and within reason.
- Shipping cost is not included or covered.
Shipment of Tea Ware
- We will try our best to pack the tea ware products securely to ensure that they reach our customers in one piece.

Due to circumstances beyond our control there may be incidents of the items breaking during the delivery process. In the event of such situations:
- Please send an email to info@dmatcha.com with photo evidence of the damage as soon as possible.
- If the product is out-of-stock, a refund will be issued.
- Each incident will be handled on a case by case basis and the final decision is up to the discretion of our d:matcha staff.
