This course includes practical knowledge and activities related to methods of sourcing high-quality tea, developing new products, as well as the landscape of Japanese tea industry, and many more.

Contents 

The curriculum will combine class learning, short internship, and networking with other tea farmers and d:matcha well-experienced team members.

You can join the store operation, farm operation, and cooking operation at d:matcha Kyoto. 

Meet your main Instructor: Daiki Tanaka

  • Earned a BA in Agricultural Management from Kyoto University and an MBA from Babson College in Boston
  • Worked for Booz Allen Tokyo and was the youngest senior consultant to be promoted
  • Former CEO of Doughnut Plant Tokyo and turned the company around for three consecutive years
  • CEO and Founder of D-matcha CO., LTD.

    Terms and condition

    Duration: 4 Days / 3 Nights   

    Price: JPY 198,000 (private room, food, and tax are included) 

    Class capacity: 6 pax

    Accommodation: Students can stay at the second floor of the d:matcha Kyoto headquater (store and office).

    Meal: d:matcha staff will provide your meal (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) If you have any food restriction, please let us know in advance.

    Cancellation options: A full refund will be issued for cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the desired start date or within 24 hours of booking. Any other refunds will be made on a case-to-case basis.
