This tea plantation is located in a field that was once part of the Somada Castle over 1000 years ago.
Although it is a difficult path to reach the plantation, it is situated in a place with a great view and good sunlight.
It is one of the early harvest fields for d:matcha, and became the first harvest of 2023.

The tea leaves harvested from this tea field were extremely young, resulting in a sencha with a mild bitterness profile. And it has beautiful green color.

Yabukita is a representative variety of Japanese tea, characterized by a refreshing aroma and moderate astringency. By not shading the tea leaves, you can enjoy the original aroma of Yabukita itself more.
