Harvested for the first time from our new organic tea fields in Yubune, Wazuka, these tea trees were shaded for 7 days before harvesting. The result is a brew with a deep body and a moderate umami taste. These two qualities are further accentuated by the brew's unique earthy aroma.
Brewing this sencha at different temperatures also highlights its different key features: 1) With boiling water from the start to enoy a deep bitter taste or 2) With water at a temperature of 70°C to indulge in a milder yabukita taste.
This sencha is thus the perfect choice for those who love versatility in their Japanese green tea. Feel the calmness of Wazuka with each sip.
