Ujihikari(うじひかり)
A Kyoto-native cultivar with vivid green liquor and rich umami. Rare outside Kyoto, Ujihikari is one of the region’s signature cultivars for high-grade matcha.

d:matcha’s Ujihikari
At d:matcha, we have young 2-year-old Ujihikari trees in our own fields in Yubune. These trees are still too young for harvest. The Ujihikari currently sold by d:matcha is sourced from a trusted farmer in Bessho, Wazuka and finished and processed at our own facility.
