Option 1: Public Transit to Ishiyama Station + Taxi

Ishiyama Station Taxi

Take the JR or Keihan train to Ishiyama Station in Shiga Prefecture. A taxi from Ishiyama Station is the fastest and most convenient way to reach d:matcha Kyoto. This option is highly recommended for those seeking speed and ease.

Public Transit Option

For those familiar with local transportation, this option involves a train ride to Kamo Station, a bus to Wazuka Shogakko bus stop, and a shared car service (Wazcar) to d:matcha. Perfect for the adventurous traveler!

  • Cost (one-way): ~1,500 JPY per person
  • Wazcar Reservation: Must be made two days in advance. Contact us at info@dmatcha.com to book your Wazcar.

Bus Timings:

  • Weekdays: Kamo Station → Wazuka Shogakko bus stop (9:05 → 9:22)
  • Weekends: Kamo Station → Wazuka Shogakko bus stop (9:11 → 9:28)

*Wazcar will pick you up from Wazuka Shogakko bus stop at 9:25 (Weekdays) or 9:30 (Weekends) and arrive at d:matcha at 9:33 or 9:38, respectively.

To Kyoto

Taxi (Fastest Way): Most groups can take a taxi at 1:15 PM to JR Ishiyama Station. (We can call a taxi from d:matcha). Arrive at Kyoto Station around 2:15 PM.

Public Transportation (Wazcar + Bus + JR Train): Pickup at 1:40 PM from d:matcha to connect with the bus at 2:11 PM from Wazuka Shogakko bus stop to Kamo Station. Arrive at Kyoto Station around 4:00 PM.

To Nara

Public Transportation (Wazcar + Bus + JR Train): Pickup at 1:40 PM from d:matcha to connect with the bus at 2:11 PM from Wazuka Shogakko bus stop to Kamo Station. Arrive at Nara Station around 3:00 PM.
