¥95,000

This is a powerful piece with the characteristic of Shigaraki red clay ware, a rugged form, and unique patterns. The distinctive color of red symbolise the power of dragon and the white patterns make it look like the tooth of the dragon.

The texture and color gradation around the drinking rim, a natural occurrence from the ash during firing, adds depth to this artwork. Fired towards front of the kiln, it displays Shigaraki's characteristic fiery color and an exceptional scene created by the ash.

Since it's a hand-made bowl by a Japanese Pottery Artist, this design is the only one.

Pottery Technique: Hollowing out (a method of shaping by hollowing out a lump of clay)
Firing Method: Anagama Kiln. Fired towards the rear of the kiln.
