【Tea Cup - Landing on The Moon】


A New Style for Enjoying Tea

A masterpiece tea cup featuring the surface of the moon. Looking at the tea cup feels like landing on the moon. The gradation colour of white, grey, and black united into one and showcasing a magical ambience. Its slightly rough texture and its proper thickness provide a comfortable grip. 

Size: Diameter 7 cm, Height 7 cm, 110 ml (As handmade products, sizes, colors, patterns, etc., may vary slightly.)

It is the only piece with this style, and comes with a box signed by the artist, Mr. Saeki.

About Shigaraki Ware:

- Shigaraki Ware is one of the Six Ancient Kilns (the oldest pottery production areas in Japan) with a history of over 750 years.

- It is located in an area with high-quality clay produced from the volume of soil from Lake Biwa, the largest lake in Japan, which was formed approximately 400,000 years ago. These geological features make it an ideal place for pottery production.

- Shigaraki Ware is known for its rustic and warm appearance.
